Share A Memory

We’d love to hear your best stories about our best gal. Losing Meg is excruciatingly painful, but hearing the stories, moments and memories she left with all of you means more than we can say. Share yours with us, so we can keep them for Paul, Brandt and Wynn.

Meghan Marie Kalinowski

Dec. 17, 1979 – Sept. 3, 2026

There was no one quite like Meg.

Meg was curious, hilarious, discerning and enthusiastically invested in living a big, bold life. She believed things were worth knowing about, talking about, having an opinion about and, whenever possible, turning into an adventure.

She paid attention. To the world, certainly, but especially to people. She remembered the details. She asked the next question. She wanted the whole story. She could make you laugh until you cried, talk you into something you hadn’t planned on doing and make an ordinary night feel like a celebration.

Meg loved a strong opinion, a good story, a well-planned trip, a hot hand at bingo, an elaborate prank and plunging herself into water considerably colder than necessary. She was competitive, curious, generous with her laughter and deeply loyal to the people she loved.

And she loved a lot of people.

To be Meghan’s friend was to become part of this remarkable collection of people she gathered throughout her life. Some knew her from Big Wheels in Fondy. Some from college, work, the neighborhood, their kids, the cabin or adventures along the way. Everyone carries a different piece of Meghan, and we want to gather those pieces for Paul, Brandt and Wynn to keep forever.

Share the Meghan you knew.

Tell them a story. A ridiculous moment. An adventure. Something she taught you. Something she always said. Something you never want to forget. Or simply what you loved about her.

Big memories and tiny ones are equally welcome. We want to collect as many pieces of Meghan as we can, so her family can keep discovering her for years to come.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brandt and Wynn’s college funds.
